Thanksgiving is only four days away! Have you thought about how you will style your table? Luckily for me, my mother hosts Thanksgiving every year, so I usually don’t have to think much about it. However, this did not stop me from putting together a few tablescape ideas while recently at her home. With help from my mom we created three different table settings by simply changing out runners and accessories. Which one is your favorite?
We started with a great patterned runner from Marshalls HomeGoods filled with browns, blues, greens purples. We then filled a blueish crate with dried hydrangea flowers, white pumpkins and acorn accessories. Lastly, we used antique looking candelabras on either side of the crate, and filled in with some fake mini pumpkins.
The second tablescape was a little more rustic and casual. We used another runner from HomeGoods, real orange pumpkins mixed with mini fake pumpkins, fake leaves, white candles and mason jars filled with water and floating candles, and tied with raffia string. Each place setting had a napkin with a leaf in the center.
I then added a sign that I had made to the middle of the table, to see how that looked as well.
Our last tablescape was a bit more elegant in silver and golds. We used a mercury glass lantern and votives mixed with the dried hydrangeas and glass vases with floating candles.
Love them all but the first is my favorite. Happy Thanksgiving to all. xoxo
I love that first tablescape! I am definitely stealing that for my table next year 🙂
