With St. Patrick’s day just around the corner I thought I would round-up a few of my favorite ideas from some crafty and talented bloggers! The best part is that all of the decor, gift and recipe ideas are pretty simple! With just a few touches of green here and there, a framed printable and a fun looking dessert you can easily celebrate this holiday while still being able to relax and enjoy a green beer or two…
Blooming Homestead – St. Patrick’s Day Printable
I love how simple and classy this printable is, and who doesn’t have an old frame around the house to pop this into (preferably a gold one…otherwise it’s nothing a little spray paint can’t fix)
The cute kids help, but the tools needed to make this banner are things you probably already have around the house (especially if you a crafty, which I am guessing you are). Hang it over a mantle or snap a picture of your kids, dog… or husband holding on to it to give extra meaning!
Studio DIY – Free Printable Leprechaun Notes
I remembered seeing these fun notes last year and just had to include them in this list! Just print, cut out and slip these notes into lunches or tie to a favorite treat! So many possibilities! * The magnifying glass is not necessary to read these…but definitely makes it more fun!
The 36th Avenue – Free Printable & Gift Idea
This little gift idea is just too cute and easy not to try! If you are like me then you have plenty of mason jars lying around…or just pick a few up along with some green m&m’s and you are in business! What a sweet surprise (pun intended) to be the recipient of one of these little jars?
Oh Happy Day – Printable Leprechaun Mini-Cupcake Toppers
Not only would I love to eat a cupcake, but I would especially love to eat a cupcake with one of these adorable toppers! * If you don’t have card stock to print on you can try using computer paper and tape a toothpick in the back to hold them up!
Home Cooking Memories – Lime Sherbet Floats
The ingredients are lime sherbet and lemon lime soda, so it’s basically a deliciously drinkable dessert. A perfect St. Patty’s day treat for kids or a perfect holiday adult beverage if you add a shot of vodka!
Lia Griffith – Printable Paper Shamrocks
I think these would go pretty perfectly with the lime sherbet floats…
Classy Clutter – Rice Krispie Treats With Lucky Charms Marshmallows
Because these are just more fun to eat than the regular rice krispie treats! Also provides an excuse to purchase a favorite childhood cereal and pick out the marshmallows!
Now all of these sweets are making me hungry!
Whatever you choose to do or make I hope you enjoy your St. Patrick’s Day!
Thanks so much for the feature. 🙂
You had me at green marshmallow treats .
