Home For The Holidays – With Holly & Craig

home for the holidaysA few days ago my sister and her husband invited Jim and I over to their apartment for a pre-Christmas get together of food, drinks and games.  But I think they just wanted to show off their beautifully decorated apartment. Ok, I know that’s not the reason.  Still, I couldn’t help but feel as though I was stepping onto a Christmas movie set!  A fire was burning, holiday music was playing, and the whole apartment felt very cozy, and very, very festive!

I mean how could you not feel all warm and cozy sitting next to a crackling fire?  They are lucky I didn’t sleep over, right on that chair.

Especially when that Christmas tree is huge, with burlap garland, and silver and gold ornaments!  And of course her DIY Tree Ornaments too!  By combining these elements Holly managed to give both a rustic and elegant feel to their home for the holidays.
