Hi there! I’m Jodi and welcome to my blog!
I started Twine & Vines as a place to share all of my projects. I love anything having to do with design, so you will find a lot of that here. You will also find:
DIY Projects – that I have tried, my friends have tried, and hopefully ones you will share as well.
Interior Decorating – I love to decorate and make a space feel like home, it started with our Boston apartment where I was constantly redecorating and moving furniture around, to now our first home out in the suburbs! My style is a little eclectic mix of everything, I love rustic design and vintage pieces but also color! I hope to share decor I love from others as well.
Inspiration– from the places we travel to and the things we see.
Thrift shopping – consignment store adventures, favorite finds, flea market shopping.
Building/Painting– tables, signs and anything out of wood and metal.
Parties – my parties, your parties, and fun styling inspiration.
A little bit about me:
I grew up in CT but moved to Boston about 7 years ago where I met my husband. We loved going out in the city, walking around and trying new restaurants, but we recently moved into a home in the suburbs outside of Boston…which means more space for projects!
I love:
Anything creative.
I am not the best cook, but am currently giving it a shot (mostly gluten and dairy free cooking).
Painting– furniture, wood, and the occasional canvas.
Learning new DIY techniques and then re-learning them.
Going to the movies… popcorn, raisinets and a cherry coke please!
Boston: new restaurants, old restaurants, old buildings, the Esplanade.
Riding my bike: it is about the only form of exercise I enjoy!
Decorating our home and any space my family will let me get my hands on!
Blogs, fashion blogs, DIY blogs, book blogs, you name it.
Reading 5 books at once and taking forever to finish them.
Traveling as often as I can, even day trips count!
Building things out of wood, pallets, and metal.
Vintage inspired outfits and decor.
My husband, family, friends, dogs, donuts and puns.
